My name is Kay Kurokawa. I’m a software engineer with a decade of experience with a B.S and M.S from Carnegie Mellon University in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I’ve worked in a wide range of industries, from audio digital signal processing, algorithm development for spectrometry equipment , and high frequency trading. My main strength is turning complex technical specifications into reality. My main tools are Python, C/C++, and Linux although I can quickly pick up any new technology that would be optimal for the job.
I started studying Bitcoins in early 2013, and realized that amazing things could be done with this technology. I currently spend most of my time working on LBRY, a peer to peer digital marketplace that utilizes the blockchain for name resolution. On my free time, I do independent research and write about various cryptocurrency topics that interest me at this blog and at my Twitter and Medium.
I am available for consulting work. If you have a project where you need a software engineer with a deep understanding of cryptocurrencies, please reach me at email@example.com
